Refund policy

Part 1: Instructions on Withdrawal

(Wording based on the official model, Annex 1 to Art. 246a § 1 (2) sentence 2 EGBGB (Introductory Act to the German Civil Code), with the drafting options applicable to the sale of goods.)

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day

  • on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods (in the case of a sales contract for one or more goods that are delivered together);
  • on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good (in the case of a contract relating to multiple goods ordered by you in one order and delivered separately);
  • on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last lot or piece (in the case of a contract relating to the delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us,

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by mail or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also declare your withdrawal via our online withdrawal function: use the "Withdraw from contract" button on our website (available on every page via the footer, or directly at annarelle.com/pages/widerruf). Upon receipt of a withdrawal declared this way, you will immediately receive a confirmation email documenting the content, date and time of your declaration (Section 356a of the German Civil Code, BGB).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Part 3: Voluntary 30-Day Return Policy

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary return policy of 30 days from receipt of the goods. It applies to all orders and all delivery countries.

Conditions of the voluntary return policy:

  1. The return must be registered within 30 days of receipt of the goods via our customer portal my.annarelle.com. There you will receive a free, insured return shipping label.
  2. The item must be returned unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging.
  3. The return shipment is free of charge for you and insured.
  4. The voluntary return policy covers only the return of the originally delivered piece of jewelry. We inspect every return promptly upon receipt for identity, authenticity (e.g. based on the IGI certificate number and laser inscription) and condition.
  5. The refund is issued no later than 10 business days after receipt of the return, to the payment method originally used.
  6. Pieces engraved or custom-made on request are excluded from the voluntary return policy; we point this out separately before you place such an order.

Important: This voluntary return policy does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal (Part 1) or your statutory warranty rights in any way. Within the 14-day withdrawal period, you may at any time rely on the statutory conditions where they are more favorable to you (no requirements regarding original packaging, reimbursement within 14 days, compensation for diminished value only under § 357a BGB (German Civil Code)); of course, the convenient route via the customer portal also remains open to you during this period.
